Objective: Our objective is to provide children with a comprehensive educational foundation.
Goal: Our primary goal is to extend our help to students who face barriers in accessing quality education and provide a holistic educational foundation to the Children. Choosing the perfect community for the learning center is crucial because it allows us to pinpoint villages that are in great need.
Gramothhan’s Community Learning Centers (CLCs) aims to provide children with a holistic educational foundation, focusing on communities with limited access to quality education. These centers are established in villages where parents lack the resources to support their children’s learning, and students face barriers to regular schooling which causes irregularity. Through a participatory approach, we engage local stakeholders, including Sarpanch, parents, and teachers, to ensure programs are relevant and impactful. Our child-centric and contextual methods emphasize inclusivity and adaptability, using real-world examples to make learning meaningful. By fostering innovation, experimentation, and collaboration, CLCs empower children to take ownership of their education and grow in an environment to create an empowered society.
Currently we have 7 existing learning centers in rural Sonepur. These centers are run by local education leaders trained and supported by Gramothhan. Through learning centers, we have successfully 80 children back to school who were dropouts or out of school. Through this initiative 10 children reached 10 standards and prepared for the board exam. Those were out of school.
Now we are looking for scalable models of the same initiative with rural Youth.

Objective: Gramothhan’s STP (School Transformation Program) Program aims to create model schools through its intervention that can act as role models for other Govt Schools. For our intervention schools, we will provide a School Leader from the local area who will help in the school transformation process by using innovative, joyful and contextual learning resources.
Our Goals:- Regularity of students in the school.
- Increase Student Learning Outcomes.
- Increase SMC, Parents, and Community Engagement in school.
- Create an effective learning environment at school.
- Create a space for teachers where all teachers from our intervention school will be involved in the Community of Practice and share their best practices with each other.

The objective of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is to equip children with essential emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience skills to address the challenges they face due to personal, familial, or societal issues.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) integration became an essential part due to the challenges faced in schools and communities, such as the effects of alcohol-addicted parents, violence, discrimination, and psychological issues arising from students’ family backgrounds. Teachers also found it difficult to meet their educational expectations due to these complex circumstances. SEL was integrated to address these issues, focusing on developing children’s emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience. This helps improve their behavior, manage emotions, and build better relationships, contributing to regular school attendance and improved learning outcomes. SEL supports both the emotional well-being of children and the overall goals of the school transformation program by creating a supportive environment that promotes academic and personal growth.

By fostering inclusive school environments and encouraging leadership among all students, Gramothhan aims to eliminate barriers, promote regular participation in classrooms, and create a future where every child, regardless of gender, can thrive and fulfill their potential.

Gramothhan’s Child Rights Intervention focuses on creating awareness and ensuring the protection of children’s rights within schools and communities. By empowering children, parents, and communities with knowledge about their rights, the initiative fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child can thrive, learn, and reach their full potential.
